Our Clients

Home : About Greycourt : Our Clients

As one of the largest and best-known open architecture firms in the United States, Greycourt advises clients who range in size from approximately $25 million in investable assets to a number of Forbes 400 families. With an average client relationship of about $130 million, we serve clients in approximately twenty-five U.S. and foreign jurisdictions. Our focus is on taxable investors and select endowed institutions who demand excellence in their investment activities.

FAMILIES
Sound stewardship of private capital never just happens. It is always the result of hard work, of family cooperation, of insistence on high standards and the consistent use of best investment practices. Working with a trusted advisor who has had extensive experience in all aspects of the stewardship process - from tax efficient investing to the appropriate family governance structure - can be of enormous benefit. At Greycourt, we believe that families who master the challenges of stewardship will be not just wealthier, but stronger and happier.

ENDOWED INSTITUTIONS
The traditional pension and endowment consulting model relies on armies of young analysts who produce substantive material such as asset allocation and manager recommendations that are then delivered to clients by “consultants” who often have little investment experience themselves. By contrast, at Greycourt all client advisory work is handled directly by the firm’s highly experienced managing directors, who have spent many years advising endowed institutions. Our managing directors have also served extensively in direct leadership roles at endowed institutions in their own communities and nationally, and hence they understand the needs of institutions from all angles.
