Greycourt Organizational Changes
Greycourt announced that Gregory Friedman will become Greycourt’s Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2012. Mr. Friedman joined the firm in 2001 and is located in Greycourt’s Portland, Oregon office. He currently serves as the firm’s President and Chief Investment Officer. Read the press release here.
Matthew Litwin named Managing Director, Head of Manager Research
Mr. Litwin joined the firm in 2010 as a director and has been overseeing alternative manager research for Greycourt since joining the firm. He is located in Greycourt's Portland, Oregon office and reports to Gregory Friedman, President and Chief Investment Officer. Read the press release here.

Kristi Combs Joins Greycourt
Kristi Combs has joined the firm as a director based in the Portland, Oregon office. Ms. Combs will serve as head of marketing and business development. She began her career in 1993 in the investment services group of BISYS, Inc., a business solutions provider to financial institutions. The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Regulation Act (“Dodd-Frank”) is now the law of the land. 06/2010 Greycourt adds to its alternative research team
Greycourt is pleased to announce the addition of Matt Litwin to its alternative manager research team. He will join the firm as a Director and will expand our existing team responsible for researching hedge, private equity and real assets managers. Prior to joining Greycourt, Matt worked as an analyst and portfolio manager for hedge funds Andor Capital and Viking Global Investors. He also spent several years at Goldman Sachs as an equity analyst covering retail companies. Matt is a 1996 graduate of Yale University and holds a degree in geology and geophysics. Matt will be located in Greycourt’s Portland Oregon office.

09/2007 - Greg Curtis Speaks on Hedge Fund Investing Sept. 2007: Greycourt Chairman Gregory Curtis spoke at a private wealth management conference held at The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA. Greg proposed a risk-based, "stay rich" approach to hedge fund investing, based on an analogy between the risk of loss associated with investing in individual stocks and the risk of loss associated with investing in individual hedge funds.
