Gregory Curtis is the Chairman Emeritus and Founder of Greycourt. Prior to founding Greycourt, Greg served for many years as president of a family office that was established in 1858. Greg is the author of Creative Capital (2004), The Stewardship of Wealth (2012), Family Capital (2016), Advising the Ultra-Wealthy (2020), and five other books. Over the years Greg has served on many investment committees for family and institutional investors. He currently serves or recently served on the investment committees for Carnegie Mellon University, The Pittsburgh Foundation, St. John’s College, United Educators Insurance Co., Waycrosse, Inc. and the Winchester Thurston School, among others. His current or recent board positions include chairing the board of directors of The Pittsburgh Foundation (the community foundation for the Pittsburgh region), chairing the board of St. John’s College (Annapolis and Santa Fe), and chairing the board of The Investment Fund for Foundations. He is a member of the board of directors of United Educators Insurance Co.

In 2013 Greg received the Decade Award for Thought Leadership from the Family Wealth Alliance in recognition of his many contributions to the intellectual capital of the wealth management industry.
