Gregory Battis, CFA

Gregory joined Greycourt in 2023 as an Investment Analyst. In this role, he supports Greycourt’s Chief Investment Officer with data collection, writing, editing, and production of our Monthly Capital Markets Flash Report and Quarterly Tactical Investment Update and Summary. Gregory helped create several Greycourt proprietary/specific models used in our quarterly and strategic reports. He has also helped develop tools that help to stay up to date with capital markets. Gregory collaborates with our advisory team with the implementation of strategic portfolio design and production of client reports and supports our manager research team with data management and analysis. Prior to joining Greycourt, Gregory worked at Evergreen LLC, where his responsibilities included building, and designing spreadsheets for modeling acquisitions and development of real estate in the Portland area, researching investment properties and costs, and helped to improve efficiency for the company and to adopt the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. Gregory graduated Summa Cum Laude from Portland State University with an honors degree in BS Business Administration: Finance. He holds the Capital Markets & Securities Analyst (CMSA®) Certification. Gregory is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charter holder. In his spare time, he has volunteered at chess camps teaching chess and while in Poland taught finance. He has also volunteered for Canine Angels Service Teams (a service dog organization based in Grants Pass, Oregon). Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) The CFA Program is a three-part exam that tests the fundamentals of investment tools, valuing assets, portfolio management and wealth planning. To be eligible to become a CFA Charter holder, an individual must have a Bachelor’s degree followed by a combination of 4,000 hours work experience and/or higher education and is required to successfully pass three exams. CFA Charter holders become members of the CFA Institute and must comply with the CFA Institute’s Professional Conduct Statement.
