Matthew Pagnotta, CFA
Matt joined Greycourt as an Associate Advisor in 2020. In 2023 Matt was promoted to Senior Associate Advisor. Matt works closely with senior members of the advisory team and senior investment analysts to analyze and manage client investment accounts, perform asset allocation modeling, and conduct research on managers. Prior to joining Greycourt, Matt worked for Signature Financial Planning where his responsibilities included monitoring current holdings for relative attractiveness, providing reporting, research, trading, asset allocation and other financial analysis. Matt has previous investment experience working for Scottrade as a stockbroker.
Matt graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors in Finance and a minor in Economics. He holds an MBA with concentration in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh. Matthew is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charter holder and a member of the CFA Society of Pittsburgh.
Matt serves as a board member for FamilyLinks Foundation.
Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®)
The CFA Program is a three-part exam that tests the fundamentals of investment tools, valuing assets, portfolio management and wealth planning. To be eligible to become a CFA Charterholder, an individual must have a Bachelor’s degree followed by a combination of 4,000 hours work experience and/or higher education and is required to successfully pass three exams. CFA Charterholders become members of the CFA Institute and must comply with the CFA Institute’s Professional Conduct Statement.
